A new theatrical space springs from an option made by a professional theater structure with a track record of over twenty years, Casa Conveniente, of migrating from Cais do Sodré to Zona J in Chelas and there continue to develop its regular activity. A theater will be installed in the heart of the neighborhood, in a one floor house that has been unoccupied for several years. The work will be open and participatory, following a methodology of intervention in which the transformation of the space will take place in phases throughout the year, in conjunction with the various artistic activities scheduled. Each performance will relate to a constantly changing scenography, connecting to the following performances with the course of the rehabilitation of the space. Artéria designed a specific architecture project to be executed openly, favoring the visibility of the requalification process, and matching the identified needs and variables generated with specific technical components for this type of theatrical space.
